Bosnia Remade wins the Julian Minghi Outstanding Research Award for 2011

The Association of American Geographer’s meetings start tomorrow in New York City. Carl and I learned earlier this week that Bosnia Remade has won the Julian Minghi Outstanding Research Award for 2011 from the Political Geography Specialty Group of the AAG. The award will be presented at the AAG annual awards luncheon on Tuesday the 28th. A panel discussion on Bosnia Remade will be held early Monday morning the 27th (details in a posting below). Thanks to all the political geographers who nominated the book for this award! We’re very pleased.
